Dia and Carol Theriac founded PHMI in March of 1995 Carol Theriac; herself having been in the industry over 22 years and Dia graduating from the University of Texas, decided to open Houston's property management company which focuses on the Owners through superior tenant services and detailed accounting - not on "...subsidizing rental commissions..." like other companies.

Dia grew up around the property management business and knew that there was a better way to serve owners.  She used her life experiences and education to create the business concept of Progressive Homewoner Management, Inc.

Carol Theriac - Vice President

Carol started out in Real Estate sales 25 years ago, obtaining her license under the sponsorship of Shindler-Cummins in Houston, she quickly found her niche in real estate on the property management side. She has since worked for companies such as Merrill Lynch Relocation Management which put her in direct contact with expatriate clients located across the globe.

Although Carol still has an active real estate license, she still chooses to invest her time in the management side of real estate, while staying up-to-date on real estate market trends.

We offer a variety of services from long-term management to short-term management customized to our client's needs, as well as case-specific services such as follow through of eviction proceedings to video taping a property you are considering for purchase.

We have long standing relationships with quality, dependable vendors which also provide peace of mind for homeowners. Our primary goal is to work for you - delivering timely information regarding your property and keeping you in the loop with your property by utilizing the latest technology and industry specific software.

We believe that property management is a full-time job. Therefore, we are committed to managing property one way; by devoting 100 percent of our time and attention to the day-to-day processes of taking care of your investment.
